Santa Claus Greetings

I welcome you and every child, as well as all childlike and Christmas-spirited people with open arms. I would like you to get to know me: an internationally known Santa Claus, who has friends in every corner of the world.

I am a Santa Claus who has truly travelled the world. I have visited countless homes, as well as children’s hospitals and retirement homes, I have played with children in kindergartens and day cares, I have been a star performer in concerts and at shopping centres alike, I have been an ambassador of goodwill and hope in disaster areas and have brought people happiness even in the middle of summer. To me, everyone I meet is a child, from a two-year-old toddler to a prime minister leading a country.

I have always had a privilege to break man-made, artificial boundaries and I am welcomed to the remotest parts of the world. My arrival is a new, unique occasion every time, regardless of time, place and the number of participants.

You can contact me through these pages. You might already know that Santa Claus in fact resides in Korvatunturi in the Lapland region of Finland, where the framework of real Christmas is created as Santa Claus’ elves work diligently and craft presents in their shop all year round.

Through these pages you can also step into the world of Santa: you will see my annual calendar fill up with events throughout the year, you will take a peek in the intriguing history of Santa and learn many surprising things that you did not yet know about him. For instance, while I move among people I quite often use a name of a regular person. Aptly, my real surname is Pakkanen (‘frost’ in Finnish)!
